Account Manager / SAM or Planner
We’re looking for a rock solid Account Manager or a Senior AM/Planner who, like us, is curious enough to be continuously questioning the status quo; someone who wants to challenge and—more importantly—be challenged.

You might be a Planner (but not one who has only ever done this and thinks Planning is fundamentally different to Account Service) or an AM or SAM with a good range of experience:
At least three to five years creative industry/agency experience in account management and potentially planning
Managing or collaborating with a small team
Overseeing and managing a diverse group of client jobs
Campaign planning and working closely with media agencies
Project management methodology
Brand and Campaign insights and planning
Budgeting and forecasting
Working client-side (would be great, but is optional)
You should also have:
An eye for detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced creative studio
The ability to work well under pressure, maintaining an approachable and calm manner, with a positive and dynamic personality
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Strong opinions (in a good way) – and will speak your mind and challenge clients and their assumptions to deliver the best outcomes
Dedication to the creative industry and a passion and curiosity for branding and advertising
You will be:
Learning and engaging with brand planning, workshop planning and insights gathering while working closely with the Director of Strategy
Working closely with the Director of Strategy to develop strategic plans and briefs
Owning, managing and building positive client relationships by maintaining strong communication
Leading and collaborating with a close-knit team while running with brand focused communication planning
Developing creative briefs and briefing the creative team
Driving inspiring ideas that are both effective and creative
Ensuring all work produced is on-brand and in keeping with both our client’s and Block’s brand guidelines and values
Leading client presentations
Managing project budgets, forecasting and invoicing
Responsible for all aspects of general account management, including: development of proposals and estimates, overseeing schedules, minutes and agenda preparation, working with the Project Manager to ensure all jobs are trafficked through the studio as efficiently as possible and all deadlines are met, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained and maintaining job files
Your clients will be from a wide variety of sectors, and range from significant new brand development projects, through to the running of campaigns
