Place Lab are stalwarts in the WA place-making game with a penchant for both pragmatism and play. With ambitions to crack both the East-coast and international markets, they could no longer rely solely on word of mouth.

A brand system that clearly conveyed Place Lab’s MO: to bring joy to people and their environment. It’s a visual playground – expressive, memorable, and fun – with a simple and easy-to-use structure. Guiding the system is the motif of an equation, used to highlight the different elements (social, economic, environmental) and rigorous processes that lead to a ‘bigger picture’ place.
